Level: Intermediate - Advanced

Activity Development:
- Students will be told that they will be using a new web tool for their following project. They will be shown the tool and the sample that can be seen here.
- After watching the sample video, they will be asked to choose the topic. (They will be provided with newspapers in English and access to the Net.)
- After they have chosen the topic, the teacher will ask them to think about how they would talk to a classmate about the issue they have picked. (For example, urban tribes or drug abuse). Then, they will be asked to write a short dialogue on the topic and send it to the teacher by e-mail.
- The teacher will correct the ‘scripts’ with the students and they will put together the final draft.
- Once the dialogue is ready, they will be shown a tutorial on how to use the GoAnimate.com that can be seen here.
- Students will now create a short video using the dialogue and the different characters the site offers.
- Once they have finished, the teacher will post the final results on the class blog or wiki.
